Dead Pixel – My first attempt to create a video game

A few weeks ago, I decided to give a go to a Unity course that I found on Udemy. I have always been passionate about video-games and game design but I never got the courage to actually make a game.

After a few videos watched on YouTube and many articles about indie-games I’ve finally decided to create a simple mobile game. All the videos I watched and all the posts I read always have a simple but critical piece of advice: make a game and ship it.

Following this advice I’ve decided to start small having the number of features at the minimum but keeping the game engaging, Brenda Romero’s class was very useful for understanding the principles of game design.

If you’re a noob like me I really suggest to watch it.

At this stage the game is still a concept and an unfinished prototype…
